The pleasure of your company is requested at the Third Annual
UDCA Golf Outing being held at Palmer Park Golf Course
on Saturday, July 24, 2010. Golfers of any skill level
are welcome to play. The event is both a “fun raiser” and a fund
raiser for UDCA beautification and community improvements.
There will be loads of contests, prizes, give-a-ways and
refreshments. We will also have a 50/50 drawing and raffle. A
shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. and a 4-person team scramble format
will keep things moving along swiftly and enjoyably. The awards
presentation and 50/50 drawing will commence at approximately
1:30 p.m.
Players and volunteers are equally welcome. The cost of playing
is $50.00 per person, which includes 18 holes of golf with a
shared power cart and lunch at the turn. Register your whole
team or just yourself by calling Jack Betts at (313) 862-0568.
If you do not have a complete group, register anyway and we will
pair you up with other players without partners.
Volunteers will be needed
in the morning to register players, and to distribute gift bags,
lunch tickets and other items. During play, we will need
on-course volunteers to do measuring on the contest holes, drive
the beverage cart and do other jobs as necessary.
